The width of a fabric can make or break your budget.
Most fabrics come in either 44/45 inches or 58/60 inches wide. That difference matters more than most people realise.
A wider fabric means less yardage needed for the same design. Which means less waste, lower cost, and sometimes a better drape depending on how the pattern is cut.
So before you calculate how many yards you need, always ask about the width first.
Your tailor will thank you. Your wallet will too.
