There's a myth in fashion
The lone genius, sketching a collection alone at midnight, somehow knowing exactly which fabric, button, model and Instagram caption will make the world pay attention.
It's a nice story.
It's also mostly fiction.
Someone sourced the fabric. Someone cut it. Someone stitched it. Someone photographed it, styled it, packed it and told a customer about it.
By the time a dress reaches you looking like one effortless idea, an entire ecosystem has already worked on it, usually over several WhatsApp messages that start with, "Good morning, please are you available?"
So this week's tea is simple: fashion works better when we stop obsessing over the individual and start paying attention to the circle.
